Hey all, I don’t update this much and I’m going to attempt to do that a bit more.
If you think blogs are dead you can go jump for all I’m concerned.
This weekend, I’m helping out with sound at Odd Fellows Lodge in Burlington Vermont on Friday. I believe Star Farm and Champlain Shoregasm are playing.
I’m still figuring out how to use the x32 mixer, but I’m determined to get it down.
I’ve also got general life stuff like cleaning and hopefully visiting some family to do, as well as working on the two classes I’m taking at SNHU right now.
I’m less than a year out from finishing my bachelor’s degree in computer science finally. I’ve been a full stack dev for nearly 7 years at this point – and designed circuit boards and wrote firmware before that, so it’s a bit of a late degree, but still a wonderful benefit from my company. I’m very grateful for their support.
I got a new bass! I’m super in love with it. It’s a SR505 from sound gear / ibanez and it’s got a beautiful matte navy finish and a walnut roasted maple neck that feels so darn good. I’m having loads of fun with it working on songs with my band We’re Here! To Kill. (wereheretokill.com by the way)
We are working on recording an album. Riley, our drummer, has already finished 6 tracks.
I’m also looking for new bands and business owners to come talk to me on my podcast.
I have this dream of doing more panel style interviews with different people in the music scene, different poets, different business owners all talking together.
I also want to do more interviews right on the location of different events.
I have big dreams!
